Wow, the holidays are upon us! Thanksgiving is next week and then Christmas so soon! Do you have your holiday quilting gifts ready yet? Great program at our monthly meeting last night with Judith Heyward sharing her trunk show. So inspirational! I always love going to the meetings. I always come away with some new tidbit of information and enjoy sharing some precious time with quilters who love quilts as much as I do.
Speaking of precious time, Carolyn Anderson, our guest speaker knows about precious time. Carolyn is an ovarian cancer survivor and thanked our group for choosing to support our local chapter of the SC Ovarian Cancer Foundation. We will be able to help this worthy cause because of our Opportunity Quilt. Tickets will be available at our next meeting in May for those who wish to purchase a chance to win the lovely quilt pieced by Pam Loburk and quilted by Evelyn Kellogg. The quilt is beautiful and was on hand at our meeting last night for all to admire. You really missed out if you didn’t attend. Don’t miss out on our next meeting, Monday, May 9!!
