Nimble Thimbles is an active guild that contributes much to our Golden Strip community.
The guild meets the second Monday of each month at Messiah Lutheran Church in Mauldin. Meetings begin at 7:00 p.m. and includes a business meeting, Show and Share, and a monthly program.
Visitors are always welcome, so bring a friend. There are lots of activities to become involved in. Just a few include: Secret Quilter, Strip Swap, Memory Challenge, Block of the Month, and lots of workshops.
Quilt Show Winner
Congratulations to Linda Harkins who was the winner of Best of Show for her quilt "Golden Anniversary".
You can find a list of other winners on our Quilt Show page.
Click Here for a pillowcase pattern you can use, or use another pattern, to create a pillowcase to bring to the July guild meeting. This is not mandatory, but we are hoping for a large number of pillowcases to be turned in.
Another good source for a pattern and a video tutorial for how to make a pillowcase using the “hot dog or roll up” method is available at: http://www.millionbpillowcasechallenge.com
The pillowcases will be donated to children in the hospital.
